A n etwork of byways between Totternhoe, Dunstable and Sewell. Ancient monument and nature reserve. Remains of Norman motte and bailey castle in chalk grassland. Click here for more info and a map. Free car park and picnic site. Few puddles esp in summer so take water for your dogs.
Walk lengths can be varied, for 30 mins to one and half hours. For a one-and-a-half-hour walk take steep steps on left of the car park. Turn right and go up and over Wheelbarrow Way, along Green Lane, round to Sewell Cutting disused railway and back up Quarry way |
