Description: | Paxton Pits is a well managed Nature Reserve. There are several routes surrounding lakes and alongside a river for walkers and their dogs. The pits are a haven for various bird species with hides in which to view them. Fishing is also allowed under license. To the best of my knowledge, dogs are tolerated off the lead under close supervision, with a few exceptions with are signposted. |

Description: | Very picturesque, peaceful, relaxing and safe place to walk as away from traffic. All paths are established and laid to stone so bad weather does not hinder a walk. Very friendly and beautiful walk which is a hidden gem. Many would not be aware that such a large nature reserve would be easily accessible behind a highly residential area. |
| Directions: | Drive south along the B1091 to Farcet and turn right after the church into Haddon Way and at the end of the road is the car park | |
