Description: Chase Nature Reserve is a quiet and relaxing open spaces between Dagenham and Romford, not to be missed. There are gravel paths around the main reserve; however you can go over the back, which means you are walking amongst shrubs, and open grassed areas. There is a area along the east of the reserve where horses graze, although they never bother walkers. This is a gentle stroll type of walk which also takes you around a couple of lakes.
Directions: Millenium Centre is Just Off Dagenham Road, signed posted well in local area

Epping Forest - Loughton

Description: Lovely wooded walks with paths, limited use of baby buggy, but good off the lead walks for dogs. Well-maintained woods, with gentle hill paths. A number of small ponds and streams throughout, mean that the dog can get water easily. Walk for miles, occasionally crossing a main road. If you have a map, there are pubs to be visited in High Beach, at top end of Epping Forest.
Directions: Come off M25 and follow signs to Loughton. At Woodridden Hill roundabout, take road to Loughton or Woodford. Woods are on either side of main road, just look for car parks.
