Description: |
You can take a gentle walk around the loch which is paved and clean, and/or walk up from the lochs towards the woodland where you will find approximately 3 miles of very safe dog walking tracks. The walk takes you through fields designed for walking with people/doggy friendly tracks (and no livestock); here you can let the dogs run free for miles. You will meet many dog walkers and the occasional cyclist. If you want some reshments you can buy these in the café at the lochs but dogs are not allowed inside. There are toilets in the café area. We regularly take our dogs to various parks around Glasgow and Drumpelier Park is amongst the most dog friendly of all. It has good access with safe underfoot conditions, whilst providing lots of safe areas to allow your dogs to run free. |
