Description: A series of country walks with pretty views of Blawhorn Moss Nature Reserve
Directions: Drive half a mile out of Blackridge village as if heading towards the town of Airdrie.  National Trust Blawhorn Moss Nature Reserve will be signposted on the right hand side of the road

Easy access for all dogs: There are several walks but one takes you over a cattle grid. Dogs are able to go across a stream underneath

Description: Polkemmet Country Park is an excellent area with mixed walking through an old mining district. Good made up paths, but also opportunity to move off into woodland with defined but less made up paths.
Has bar and restaurant in the centre of the park with a dog friendly courtyard for alfresco relaxation after your walk
