Description: Public park, nice and easy to walk. Excellent wheelchair access. Play areas available for children. Lots of dog poop bins. When you get to the park itself there are big signs directing you to a number of longer walks that you can take around the area if you and your dog are feeling energetic.
Directions: Saunders Park, Bromsgrove is located about 1/2 mile out of the town centre along the Kidderminster Road

Description: Pepper Wood (part of the Woodland Trust) Lovely wooded area covering 132.99 acres, lots of different types of trees and wild flowers. Lots of little paths criss-cross the woodland and with the birds singing it is a really relaxing place to be.
Directions: From Bromsgrove drive towards Catshill(up the main Stourbridge Road) about 1 mile out of town you will go under a motorway bridge, go passed a garden centre on your right. Turn left into Rocky lane, on up Doctors Hill, past the Nailers Arms carry on for about 2 mins and as the road dips down (Dordale road) you will see the sign for Pepper Wood on the right hand side of the road.

Description: Clent Hills Country Park - a fabulous two peak walk in countryside just a stone's throw from Birmingham. Easy walking overall, with clear paths and well signed walking routes in the park. Huge area for dogs to enjoy. Worth taking OS Explorer 219. On a good day you can see the Malverns, Cotswolds and the Welsh borders. Tea and WC facilities at the visitor centre (to the north of the park).

Follow signs from the A456 (from Kidderminster) or the M5 Junction 4 (from B'ham via M6/M5)

Croome D'Abitot - Severn Stoke

Description: Several walks of differing lengths through an 18th century garden and surrounding parkland.  Dogs have to be kept on leads in the garden/shrubbery areas but allowed off-lead in the parkland, subject to livestock being the fields.
There is a charge for entry to the NT garden, or for using the car park when walking on public footpaths.  The garden (& car park) are open for most of the year and a cafe is opening Sept 07 - so refreshments are available.
Directions: Approx 9 miles south of Worcester.  Croome Park is signposted from the A38 & B4084

Description: Pitcher Oak Wood is a large wood with a number of open grass areas. A great place with loads of space to walk your dog - however can get a bit boggy in wet weather.
Directions: Pitcher Oak Wood is located off Bromsgrove Road, Batchley, Redditch - approximately 1 mile from the main town centre.
